This year’s show is benefiting the Trust of Andrea Burden, an amazingly gifted Austin artist and mother of two beautiful girls, who passed from this life in December of 2009. We will be featuring prints of her work for sale via silent auction, and all proceeds from the auction and from the show will go to the trust. For more info, or to donate separately, please visit this link.
We have an amazing show coming together again kids! Please get your tickets ASAP as we expect extraordinary demand due to the large and loving community of our beneficiary. We will add a second seating if the first one sells out too soon, but please do not wait, as we don’t want any of you being shut out from what is sure to be an incredible and inspiring event on many levels.
Our host for the evening will once again be the inimitable Rebecca Havemeyer, and we will be adding all our amazing performers as they comfirm. If you are interested in performing, please email Melissa Wilson mel at gone off deep dot com.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunities that have presented themselves in and around my work. I love my work . My work is Love, Joy, Truth & Light. I am so pleased with what I have been creating recently and I know that I am attracting and creating deeper and even more abundant and prosperous success all around.
I allow my art to give infinite light to its fullest capacity….a message of deep astounding love in the most clever and wonderfully beautiful ways. I allow connections to be made from my heart to my mind to my hand to my work to my creation. I allow my creation to be timeless, original, sensual, and stunningly gorgeous with an edge that provokes mystery and wonder.
The luminescence of the moon has a certain quality of light that naturally hides the imperfections upon the surface. The layers of her art mended the broken pieces of time with motherly love and unconditional acceptance.
There is nothing we can do to replace the hole Andrea filled in our universe. We can only move on with our lives. She has moved on to the next place and we are still grasping for answers. We have the work she has done for us. She has set the tone. She has given us a glimpse of the love we hope you will find in the world around you…in the spaces we create and the memories of your experiences. We are so grateful for the pieces that she gave to us and are saddened that her signature will no longer guide us. We will move on. We will continue to create with love and intention. We will find a new vision. We will breathe a new light. She was a gift. But like most valuable things, you can not own them. You may only feel and experience them for a little while and then they just go.
